Not necessarily, depending on customer requirements, we will work with you to ensure your kitchen is open as much as possible. Our installation and maintenance program has been designed to ensure minimal down-time so if the kitchen does need to close for any of our visits, we will discuss this with you on an individual basis and ensure it is closed for a limited time only.

We will arrange our visits during the less busy hours of the day for inspections, and for duct cleans, these will be at night/out of hours but even then, we may only need to turn off the extract fan for a short while. In this instance, we will work with your kitchen staff to avoid as much disturbance as possible by pre-cooking or planning for a short break. 

No, please do not tamper with the unit in any way. The unit needs to be in permanent use to treat your kitchen extract system. Our technicians will ensure the unit is spraying at the correct intervals for your kitchen to effectively prevent the build-up of Fats, Oils and Grease (FOG).

Yes, and so much more! After every visit, our technicians will upload the data for your kitchen on the Biovent Systems Portal, which can be accessed 24/7. Once you have logged into the portal, you can download reports from maintenance visits as well as certificates of compliance that correspond to inspections throughout the year.

Once you have the Biovent System installed, we will send you log-in details to access your portal account. You can access the portal at any time by clicking on the portal button in the navigation bar above or following the Biovent Customer Compliance Portal link which can also be found in your Welcome Email.
